Aves is the scientific name for birds, and became symbolic of the journey we wanted to take with our learners – nurture them from a tender age and watch them grow into strong, brilliant, and majestic leaders that are able to soar to unlimited heights.
Aves International Academy is a private Preschool, Primary and Secondary school with three campuses and a boarding facility, implementing the Montessori framework, Cambridge curriculum and International Baccalaureate Diploma Program.

THE JOURNEY
Aves International Academy is a private IB World School and Cambridge International School located in Tema, Ghana.
In 2006, a new creche and preschool opened its doors in Tema as Tema Kiddie Academy. From those humble beginnings, the school established a strong foundation and reputation for all its pupils who went on to further their education in various schools.
In response to the positive feedback we received from students, parents, and other stakeholders, the school was extended to incorporate the Primary & Secondary departments as well, and rebranded as Aves International Academy.
Our directive has remained the same over the years - dedication to the highest standard of education, which develops well-rounded learners who are able to make a difference in the global community.
